About Us
Since 1986, MSA Aircraft Products, Inc. has been a leader in the manufacture of Aircraft Interior products with emphasis to both the interior OEM and retrofit sectors of the completion industry.
Organized as a design engineering firm, MSA serviced the pioneers of the modification industry. This participation and direct involvement with modification centers led to an awareness of the various requirements for production oriented components that were previously manufactured by the modification centers. These components included sidewall and headliner panels, shower enclosures, pocket doors and window shades.
Our main product line, the ACCORDIA® pleated shade system, has been the dominant choice for window treatments among corporate aircraft operators, with over 40,000 units produced to date ranging from King Air to the largest palaces in the sky like the Airbus A/340 and the Boeing 747. Very few products offer such a value added improvement to the cabin environment as the ACCORDIA® window shade. The design process of this product involves considering all aspects in the interior modification of an aircraft, from the designer, engineer, customer, installer, airframe manufacturer, maintenance department, aircraft broker as well as leasing companies. We currently own over 18 design and product patents and continue to invest in new ideas and technology.
Anywhere you see published depictions of VIP, Executive and Head of State aircraft interiors, the probability of our ACCORDIA® window shade being featured as a centerpiece is most likely, a testimony to the enduring features and the impact that our product has had in this field.
MSA's quality assurance system is based on the procedures outlined in our approved Quality Assurance Manual. This manual has been reviewed and accepted by the Federal Aviation Administration in conjunction with Parts Manufacturing Approval Letter #PQ576SW and supplements issued to same. This system and the Quality Assurance Manual are audited both internally (MSA) and externally (FAA) to assure compliance.
MSA can provide PMA, STC, OEM, and PM project capabilities. This results in substantial time and cost savings on custom interior completions. Call for details on our project management capabilities.
